This charming room in Arizona's oldest hotel features 120-year-old wood floors and Victorian decor. Light streams through a window from the skylight atrium, enhancing its classic ambiance. Although there's no outside view, new 2024 mattresses and linens ensure comfort. The recently updated bathroom combines modern comfort with old-world elegance, offering a perfect blend of historic charm and contemporary luxury.
Room Sixteen, formerly Room Seven, was originally situated as one of the East-facing chambers. Its window was sealed off in the early 1900s with the construction of the adjacent building, now known as the Red Raven. In compensation, skylight atriums were elegantly introduced along the front of the rooms, permitting the ingress of fresh air and natural light. The wood floors within this room were likely laid following the calamitous fire of 1895, which ravaged much of Williams. Evidence of the conflagration, including scorch marks, remains visible in the attic.
